I am a native Nashvillian. Born in 1953, I have been married to the same lady for 42 years and have 2 adult children. I’m a graduate of Father Ryan High School and went on to attend the University of Tennessee and Trevecca College. I worked for 18 years with the Metro Nashville Police Department. In the early years on the department, I worked in patrol division and community relations division, where I established Metro Police Department’s first bicycle patrol unit. I spent 10 years in the vice squad where I worked drugs, prostitution, and gambling. I was also placed on special assignments to work homicides, robberies and home break-in rings.

I started and ran a successful private investigation company while I attended and graduated from the Nashville School of Law. I have been practicing law now for over 20 years. I enjoy golf, working out, hunting, fishing and traveling.

“Mr. Felts made a otherwise stressful Situation much more bearable. He was forthcoming and always willing to answer questions. Maybe his best quality is his ability to put you at ease when you certainly are not. I highly recommend Mr. Felts and would not hesitate to use his services again.”
